Questions I get about the M5 Series

What's the difference between the M5-091 and M5-111?

The M5-091 is rated at 92.5 engine HP with 76 PTO HP, and the M5-111 steps up to 105.6 engine HP with 89 PTO HP. The M5-111 also offers a 24F/24R transmission option the M5-091 doesn't, for finer speed control in field work.

How much PTO horsepower do I need for round baling and mowing?

The M5 series gives you 76 to 89 PTO horsepower depending on model, which covers disc mowers, tedders, rakes, and most round balers used on Grey-Bruce hay operations. If you're running a large square baler or wide batwing mower, it's worth checking that implement's PTO HP requirement against these numbers.

Can I get the M5 with a cab?

Yes - both the M5-091 and M5-111 are available open station or with a cab, so you can choose based on budget and how much of the year you're running it in bad weather.

What transmission options does the M5 series offer?

The M5-091 comes with an 8F/8R or 12F/12R transmission, and the M5-111 offers 12F/12R or 24F/24R. More speeds mean finer control matching ground speed to the job, especially for loader work and PTO implements.
