Questions I get about the MX Series

How is the MX series different from the compact L-series tractors?

The MX brings utility-tractor muscle at a compact-tractor price. It's built to handle round bales, serious loader work, and larger cutters — the heavier chores the smaller compacts shouldn't be asked to do — without stepping up to a full-size ag tractor price tag.

Does the MX series offer HST or gear drive?

All three models — MX4900, MX5400, and MX6000 — offer either HST or an 8-forward/8-reverse gear transmission, so the choice comes down to how you like to drive rather than which model you're looking at.

Is a cab available on the MX series?

Yes, a cab is available across the MX series in addition to the open-station option.

What's the horsepower range across the MX series?

Gross horsepower runs from 50.3 on the MX4900 up to 63.4 on the MX6000, with PTO horsepower from 41.3 to 51.8 depending on model.
